TREAT was incorporated on April 5, 2005. The corporation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person. It is organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public and charitable purposes.

Within the context of the general purposes stated above, the specific purpose of TREAT is to promote the prevention of cruelty to animals and the responsible, humane and ethical welfare and treatment of animals, and to promote the education of animal owners and the public in general with respect to humane welfare and treatment of animals.

TREAT is a non-profit organization. Every dollar you give can help protect an innocent dog or cat from ending up as a statistic.
