DONATE

TREAT is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization supported by contributions from people like you.

Your help would be very much appreciated to help in the expense of advertising; putting together material to help educate our community in the importance of spaying and neutering their animals, postage for mailing information to open the awareness of our community to our overpopulation crisis. There is so much to do to in a effort to improve the lives of our animals ... with your help this can be made possible.

Please send your check (made payable to "TREAT") to us at:

TREAT is now using GoodSearch.com to search the Internet. Every time we do, money goes to TREAT (Taxpayers for Responsible & Ethical Animal Treatment). It has become painfully clear that the surplus of unwanted animals in this county has reached a crisis level. In the last year alone 26,354 animals were impounded. Of those 21, 083, a staggering 80% of surplus animals were euthanized.

GoodSearch.com is powered by Yahoo!, so you'll get the same quality search results that you're used to. What's unique is that they have developed a way to direct money to your charity with every click.

The more people who use this site, the more money will go to help the animals of "Our Community." So please spread the word to your friends and family.

All donations received by TREAT will be used to purchase the materials needed to educate our community of the severity of this problem. There are a handful of people here in Kern County that pull animals from the Kern County Animal Shelter, on Mt. Vernon, to help them get to a temporary foster home until adoption can be arranged. When funds are available TREAT would be able to help in providing food and medications for the fostered animals. Most of the animals pulled from the shelter are ill and need medical treatment.

TREAT is a non-profit organization. Every dollar you give can help protect an innocent dog or cat from ending up as a statistic.

You can help one of the over 500 dogs and cats that end up at our local shelters every week.

An Animal's Prayer I ask for the privilege of not being born... not to be born until you can assure me of a home and a master to protect me, and a right to live as long as I am physically able to enjoy life... not to be born until my life is precious and men have ceased to exploit it, because it is cheap and plentiful.
